Chaga Mushroom Latte

Quiet mornings with chaga mushroom lattes. Confession: I’m kind of like a monk in the mornings… I like silence! I like to take this time to visualize my day and if I have enough time a little meditation with Headspace app is perfect. What are your morning rituals?

If you’re new to chaga, it’s a nutrient-rich mushroom that can be found on the trunks of birch trees. It’s very rare to find chaga, as it can be found only on one in every 15,000 birch trees. Nutritional benefits of chaga include strengthened immunity, improved digestion, reduced anxiety and stress in addition to anti-cancer properties. Chaga is a rich source of antioxidants and is high in vitamin D, vitamin K, B vitamins, as well as iron, calcium, copper and zinc. When brewed in a latte or tea, it’s very calming to drink chaga and I love it’s unique and earthy flavour. I recommend using Wild Rose’s product. Although it is pricey, it will last you awhile and make many, many chaga mushroom lattes. Give it a try and I’d love to hear what you think!
