Joyous Detox Chocolate Chia Mousse

It’s finally starting to feel like summer which means picnics, barbeques, potlucks and lots of other get-togethers. Of course we want to enjoy ourselves, but we also want to keep within our philosophy of eating to nourish. This Chocolate Chia Mousse from Joyous Detox is the perfect summer treat for everyone to enjoy whether they traditionally eat plant-based or not. As an added bonus, it’s full of superfoods, including chia seeds and raw cacao, which you won’t even notice.

Why we love this recipe:

  • It’s super easy and quick to make with minimal cleanup
  • It’s extremely chocolaty and the raw cacao is full of antioxidants
  • The coconut milk creates a silky texture that makes it feel indulgent
  • It goes perfectly with our chocolate superfood coconut chips

A little Rawcology addition to this recipe that we highly recommend is our Chocolate Superfood Coconut Chips as a garnish. Not only do they add a nice crunch, but the combination of the cinnamon with the raw cacao tastes delicious.

Joy’s cookbook contains a lot of other light, delicious and healthy meals and snacks perfect for any summer gathering, many of which go perfectly with our four flavours of Superfood Coconut Chips. To celebrate the Joyous Detox lifestyle and the launch of our coconut chip snacks, we’re doing a giveaway where the one lucky winner will receive a copy of the Joyous Detox cookbook and all four flavours of our snack-size Superfood Coconut Chips.
