Now come on, what would summer be without ice cream? If you don’t have at least one day before September that begins, ends or includes ice cream in it at some point, then we’re sorry to say that you’re doing it wrong.
Better yet, make your own ice cream so that you can enjoy it any time of day. Made with only coconut milk and sweetened naturally with maple syrup, this ice cream is even healthy enough for breakfast, if you’re having one of those days. Hint, hint, it even has greens! Spirulina is an algae and considered the most nutrient dense food on the planet due to its high concentration of protein, vitamins and minerals. Don’t be scared though if you’re not used to seaweed in your ice cream, you can’t taste it at all and it gives the ice cream a beautiful blue-green hue.
Jazz it up a bit and make homemade ice cream sandwiches, sundaes and banana splits using our Matcha Latte or Chocolate Super food Coconut Chips as a topping.
