Beet Waffles
Weekends are made for waffles.
They are soft, fluffy, and of course pink. Boosted with heart healthy beets and topped with antioxidant filled cherries.🍒
Cherry season is in full swing, and of course all the benefits they bring. Cherries are a nutritional powerhouse filled with fiber, vitamin C, zinc, and potassium. These sweet little gems are great for removing toxins from the liver, enhancing skin health, and contain a high level of phytochemical which help to regulate our sleep cycle and enhance our mood.✨
- 3/4 cup non dairy milk
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp oil of choice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp beet crystals
- 1 cup gf flour blend
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- ½ cup tapioca starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Cherries
- Vegan whip cream
- Rawcology Apple Cinnamon Oat Clusters

Preheat waffle maker. Whisk milk, apple cider vinegar, oil, beet crystals and vanilla together. Set aside.

In a separate bowl whisk dry ingredients together. Add wet to dry and stir until well incorporated.

Grease waffle maker with nonstick spray. Ladle batter into maker without over filling. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Continue until batter is done.

Top with Rawcology Apple Cinnamon Oat Clusters, cherries and whipped cream.
