Hi! I’m Tara, Rawcology’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
“What legacy do you want to leave behind?” Answering this question led me to take a leap of faith in leaving a career in corporate communications, becoming a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and launching Rawcology. In living a plant-based lifestyle for years and experiencing the positive changes that having a holistic approach to health can have on your mind, body and spirit, I wanted to create a business that would empower individuals to find joy in eating real, whole foods and plants as much as possible. I was dissatisfied with the lack of truly, healthy and delicious packaged foods available in the market and wanted to create healthier, better-for-you packaged foods using organic, plant-based, low sugar and superfood ingredients. At Rawcology, we believe in making food choices that honour your health and taste buds while making you feel great. You don’t have to eat perfectly to be healthy. It’s what you eat consistently over time that matters. We aim for progress, not perfection.
When I’m not running Rawcology, I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors in High Park, at the cottage, or on an adventure with my husband and our dog, Archie. Otherwise, you can find me reading a book (often from my large collection of cookbooks!) or testing out new recipes in the kitchen.
Hi! I’m Laura and I manage Rawcology’s Customer Experience.
I put a ten-year career in mortgage lending on hold to start a family and always felt like something was missing. I loved to work and knew I wanted to get busy again, but after sending my kids to school I felt a pull to do something more meaningful. I longed for something that brought joy and fueled my passion. Rawcology is all that and more.
Some may not know, but Tara is my sister. I was lucky enough to understand her vision from the beginning and I’ve felt so aligned with it from the start. It has been a joy to grow and evolve with the Rawcology brand.
When I’m not here, I’m at home with my husband and two children, and our maniacal dog we fondly call Mayhem. You can find us doing things that root us to our creativity and the beautiful world around us, like hiking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors. Starting work for the week somewhere that is always changing, creative and focused on natural health and wellness, feels like I am right where I’m meant to be.
I’m looking forward to the exciting future of the Rawcology brand and am very happy to be part of it! My favourite Rawcology snack is a toss-up between Rockin’ Ranch and Smoky Cheeze. I can binge eat both!
Hello! I’m Megan and I’m Rawcology’s Head of Brand.
I have a background in Marketing Management and spent 10 years working in the retail industry managing merchandising and marketing. I love storytelling, problem solving, all things creative and the passionate pursuit of building things to make people’s lives better.
I’m Tara’s sister-in-law and have known her since high school. I’ve always admired her energy and passion and loved watching the Rawcology vision come to life. I’m so proud to be working alongside Tara to bring these delicious plant-based healthy products to our community and support the vision of revolutionizing healthy eating.
Outside of Rawcology, I love to cook, eat, play outdoors and spend time with my family; hubs, two cute kiddies and our fur baby Ellie Bells. My absolute fave Rawcology product is the grain-free Blueberry Granola! The whole family loves it!
Hi, I’m Valerie, the sassy French baker, and Rawcology’s Food Production Assistant Manager.
I studied quality in the food industry but my love for sweets dragged me back to school to study pastry in Paris. I worked there and then Hong Kong before settling in Toronto where I became vegan and started to work in vegan kitchens. I was a baker/cheese maker/ice cream maker before finding my way here at Rawcology.
I think what I love most about my job is that you’re constantly learning, there is always something new to try out and it keeps things exciting.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you can find me at the beach with my husband and our dog Waldie, Rawcology’s #1 Fan, can’t keep her away from the Banana Granola! As for me, I’m a Matcha fan!!
Hi, my name is Margo and I'm a Food Production Associate at Rawcology.
I was born and raised in Toronto and have always had a love for food and experimenting in the kitchen. A few years ago, I developed a curiosity for a more plant-based lifestyle and became interested in combining my curiosity with employment, and that is when I discovered Rawcology. I'm learning so much about nutrition and well-being and having a blast learning and sharing this knowledge with my friends and family.
Hi, my name is Kristine and I’m Rawcology’s Operations Coordinator.
I was born and raised in the Philippines but right after I got my degree in Civil Engineering, I moved to Canada to be with my family and that’s when I found Rawcology. I'm responsible for the fulfillment of orders, managing our food certifications and overseeing our accounting processes. Having an engineering background really helps me keep things organized and efficiently accomplishing our daily goals.
Beyond that, Rawcology has been an avenue for me to make healthier life choices. From where I come from, people don’t necessarily live a healthy lifestyle and so I didn't have much knowledge about health and wellness. Being a part of Rawcology has been an eye-opening experience for me and I feel like I'm learning more everyday.
My favourite Rawcology snack is the Blueberry with Acai Granola!
