Creamsicle Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl brings a healthy twist on the nostalgic summer treat. It contains no added sugar, but so much sweetness.  It’s thick, creamy, full of fiber, antioxidants, and collagen boosting benefits. 🍊

Vitamin C has never tasted so good. This super vitamin is essential for synthesis of collagen, which ultimately gives our skin elasticity and radiance. Collagen helps protect our skin by filtering out environmental toxins and other pathogens. As we age, the more collagen we need. This is because the body naturally slows down collagen production. This is where vitamin C come in to play. It’s responsible for holding cells together during the synthesis of collagen. Since vitamin C is water soluble, the body needs to replenish this vitamin daily.
   
Ingredients
  • 2 frozen banans in chunks
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 2 clementines
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Rawcology Lemon Ginger Granola
Method
  1. Place water protein powder, mango, clementines, chia seeds, bananas and ice into the blender and blend on high until you reach a smooth creamy consistency. Be patient and use your tamper if you have one.
  2. Top the smoothie/nice cream with lemon ginger granola, banana and clementine slices.
