Refreshing Ginger Blueberry Spritz

Ginger is loaded with antioxidants that help to mitigate stress in the body. Antioxidants support immunity and may help to prevent against high blood pressure, heart disease, lung disease, and have powerful anti-aging benefits.
We'll cheers to that with this refreshing Ginger Blueberry Spritz!
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup coconut sugar or coconut nectar
- ½ cup thinly sliced fresh ginger
- Handful crushed or whole blueberries
- Sparkling water (we 💜 SodaStream for a great reusable bottle option)
- Can pair well with bourbon or gin or perfect on its own 👌
- Add water, sugar and ginger to a small saucepan
- Bring to a boil over medium heat and then remove from heat and let sit for minimum 15 minutes, the longer it sits the stronger the ginger taste will be.
- Strain out the ginger and cool the syrup in an airtight container until needed.
- Add the ginger syrup and blueberries to a glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Cheers and enjoy! 💫
