Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl
Fall is in the air. Pumpkin spice and everything nice, what’s not to love? This healthy pumpkin pie smoothie recipe will be your new favourite recipe to make for fall. It’s made with vitamin A packed pumpkin, anti-inflammatory turmeric, hormone balancing maca, and few more goodies to help kickstart your morning.
The orange pigment in pumpkin is known as beta carotene. Beta carotene is converted into vitamin A, an essential vitamin responsible for good vision, regulated immune system, reproduction, and stimulate collagen production. Get your daily dose of vitamin A by incorporating more pumpkin into your diet.
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen pumpkin
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- Pinch black pepper
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1 cup water
- Rawcology Banana Granola
Method
- To a blender add all the ingredients but the granola. Blend on high using a tamper if needed.
- Add to bowls and top with fresh figs, sliced banana, and Grain Free Banana Granola and enjoy all the Fall vibes!
